The Eastern Fund is vital to Eastern's mission to educate men and women to effect Christ-like change in this ever changing world. About 94% of students recieve academic and need-based scholarships and grants.
The Eastern Fund provides the University with the additional resources needed to meet the most important financial need of the University - financial aid and scholarships for our students.
GIVE TO THE EASTERN FUND
A strong Eastern Fund strengthens Eastern University's past, present and future:
- Gifts to the Eastern Fund make an immediate impact by supporting the greatest need of the University.
- With generous Eastern Fund support, the University provides financial aid and scholarships that help attract and retain the most academically talented men and women from around the world.
- Gifts to the Eastern Fund demonstrate your belief in the power of a Christ-centered, global outreaching education that makes Eastern University number one in ways that extend far beyond national ratings.
- Alumni who make gifts to the Eastern Fund are included in our alumni participation percentage; critical for when we apply for foundations and corporation grants. Such organizations appreciate the assurance that universities they choose to support are significantly supported by their alumni. Our alumni participation rate is 19% (2007-2008 fiscal year) and our goal is to exceed 25% over the next academic year. We are dreaming big and having faith!
The Eastern Fund is a yearly campaign that runs concurrently with the fiscal year of the University (July 1 - June 30) and invites alumni, facutly/staff, parents, grandparents, and friends to support Eastern University in pursuit of helping the next generation of Eastern Students to
Grow in Faith, Learn to Reason, and Help Bring Justice.
