Help us Support African Scholarships, and we will Help you Honor the Porters and Guides in Your Life

Honor a Porter

We all have people in our lives who are there to support us on our journey. They are always there, ready with a word of encouragement, a willingness to carry our baggage, or a steady hand to help get us through the slippery spots in life.

For each gift of $250 to Reaching Peaks for African Leaders, you can honor the "porter(s)" in your life. Tell us the three things they've done that have meant the most to you, and we will send them a personalized letter telling them that you've honored them and why. Someone has been there for you on your journey; this is your opportunity to honor them and be there for someone else.

Honor a Guide

Every one of us follows a guide (or two, or three). Our guide is the person who is out ahead of the group, assessing the coming terrain, ensuring that we place our feet on solid ground, and get to our destination. You might call this person a leader, or you might call them a pastor, a mentor, a coach, or a friend. Now is your chance to honor them and tell them why.

For each gift of $500 to Reaching Peaks for African Leaders, you can honor the "guide(s)" in your life. Tell us the three things they've done that have meant the most to you and we will send them a personalized letter telling them that you've honored them and why. Someone has helped to guide you on your journey; this is your opportunity to honor them and be there for someone else.
